O. Kent Allen
Kent
is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist who has been in private
practice since 1991. He specializes in working with adolescents,
couples, and families. Prior to private practice, he worked for Weber
County Drug and Alcohol as the Associate Director of Youth Services. He
also worked as an adjunct professor at Weber State University. He has
presented at the WSU Families Alive Conference, GIFT (Governor's
Initiative on Families Today), Good Grief, and to numerous other
organizations throughout Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Mr. Allen is an
accomplished speaker and facilitator who brings excitement and energy to
any topic. Kent has served in various church callings: Bishop, Bishopric
counselor, Stake Young Men's President, High Priest Group Leader, High
Councilman, Young Men's President, Ogden Temple ordinance worker for 5
years, and is currently serving a 2 year mission with the Missionary
Committee in Salt Lake City counseling Mission Presidents and
Missionaries.
